Happy Holidays???

On Saturday, my step-son came over to spend the night with us. 
On Sunday my bro & sis-in-law and their two boys came over to visit. My mother-in-law had been staying with us since last Thursday. It was nice to have her here and I am glad she got to see everyone. She went home with the in-laws and step-son went home as well. 
On Tuesday, I took baby in for his 6 month check up along with the other six to get their flu shots. I think the flu shot made baby sick... which means mommy is sick.
He is 27 inches and 18.7 lbs and is pulling himself up to standing as well as crawling. Doc says standing happens normally around 9 months and crawling around 6. My baby boy is ready to grow up.
On Wednesday, I got my bandage off and stitches out of my wrist. Its so ugly and bruised. It is also still very sore to the touch and doc says it will be weak and sore for the next couple of months. Yay...
We are having a quiet Thanksgiving dinner at home, just our little 9 person unit, and I just want to remember how blessed I really am.
I am not ready for Christmas. I am not doing any Black Friday shopping. I really just want to slowly integrate back into the general public because I really have enjoyed being holed up at home with the baby.
We shall see what happens...

Am I Back?

Well, I still exist.
I have added a new person into the mix. Had a baby boy, Storm, in May. He is a super happy, wonderful, healthy kid... if only his mom was.
The rest of the family is doing fine. Hubby just spent the last year at Sheppard AFB and commuted home on weekends. 
I had a wrist surgery earlier in the week so I can only type one handed right now. I really want to get back to this neglected blog as soon as I can.
