FINALLY! The call I have been waiting for!

I haven't heard from that husband of mine since my lunch break on 09-29-09! I was so glad to hear from him. Words can't begin to express! I love you, hubby! SO SO SO much!
Today started off like every other except for one thing! Bruiser had a fever! Little momma was sluggish and grumpy. So I did what I had to do. I took a half of a vacation day and stayed home with her. It was OK. I had an opportunity to clean up some stuff and do some more laundry. Got hubby's package ready to mail tomorrow. I am sure there's something I am forgetting to stick in there but I am sure we will have other packages sent out soon enough. Gotta order him more contact lenses and send them soon too.
Bruiser seems to be doing fine now. All other kiddos are well. I just can't wait for this "bug" to go away. Everyone is getting sick. I am so nervous about having to miss time off from work.
I still have a couple more loads of laundry to do. I need to mop the kitchen. I have to wrap the Christmas gifts and find a hiding place. I have phone calls to make. I have so much to do and so little time. Shannon from work loaned me 3 Halloween costumes. The kids all liked them. Princess is going to be a cat. Its a black one piece body suit kinda thing. Velvet with pink feather cuffs on the ends of the sleeves and ankles of pants. It has a little headband for the ears. I can do cat makeup no problem. She loves the costume. I tried it on her tonight and she had a hard time giving it up. Bruiser's and Pinky's are both lady bugs. Bruisers has wings on the back. Its a little red dress with black netting and black polka dots. Pinky's is one of those pullover kind so she'll have to wear pants and a shirt underneath. Red with black dots as well. And Bubba is going to be that little monster I found at AAFES. Shannon realized how much Halloween costumes would cost me and offered to help. I love good friends.
Work was a bust again. All my customers were in collections or disconnecting. Today was crappy as far as work production goes. I did win a 5.00 GC to PeiWei. I've never eaten there and have always wanted to so maybe that's lunch tomorrow. I only worked half the day. Took the morning off with Sheridan.
We ate left over spaghetti and I got 2 pepperoni pizzas from Lil Caesars and made a salad. I was so tired. I didn't want to cook anything today. I can't remember being this tired. Maybe right after the twins were born and I was doing the new mommy thing... But I feel like this is a new definition of tired. Massive tired. Superior tired. Mega tired. UBER- tired... Is it sinking in? I don't know what I would do if tomorrow wasn't Friday.
The little ones are going to take pictures at daycare on Oct 12. That's awesome because I was wondering when I was going to have the extra time to take them to J C Penny's to do it. I haven't had them done since last Christmas. Too bad Daddy is home to take them with us again.
CiCi says she misses Julian. She wants to see him. I just don't want to have to make the call to see if we can meet up somewhere. I would if it would make the kids happy. But I would rather not.
PacPac is so desperate for attention. I have been making Ellie walk him around the circle in the evenings this week. Poor puppy is not used to me working these full days.
I set up my Dallas Morning News subscription for Sundays plus a Wednesday- Saturday "briefing" which is like a mini paper. So hubby can get the comics sent to him each week. I miss seeing him at the kitchen table drinking his coffee and reading the Sunday funnies.
I talked with Becky through facebook chat tonight too. I haven't talked to her in a while. Brief, but nice to hear from her. She is one of my Baylor Buddies from last summer. Who would've thought that the people who turn out to be the best friends are as crazy as you are? That's totally a figure of speech. She's not crazy. I mean, we all have issues in some shape, form or fashion, right?
I hear from Kim pretty regular, even if it's just facebook. I really like it. It's a nice way to interact and talk with people especially when you don't have time for the phone.
