Let's play catch up again!
April 1, 2010- April Fool's Day... Not too much exciting happened. I finally watched the movie, The Blind Side. It was pretty good. Very heartfelt and touching movie. Better than I thought it would be, even with all the hype about it.
April 2, 2010- movie day. Went out with Dasia to the late late show. All the kiddos were home sleeping. C and L decided to babysit for me, which means if anyone wakes up, put them back to bed after figuring out what their problem is. But for the most part, the kids usually sleep through the night. We tried to make it to the 10:20 showing of Clash of the Titans. It was sold out. So we went to the 12:30 AM showing instead. I went back home for an hour before meeting at the mall. The movie was good. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be but it was good to see Dasia. I haven't seen her in a long while. We had a good time.
April 3, 2010- aaaahhhh! After 4 hours of sleep I got up to get the kids breakfast. I raked leaves outside- front yard is done! Yay! I mowed the front and back yards! That was a work out. I had a headache when I was done. The kids played outside while I worked. L tried to help a bit, moving sticks and what not. I also went to the grocery store and finished my taxes. Fun... I am getting a refund! Yay! That was good news!
April 4, 2010- Easter. My Mom came over and made dinner and watched the little ones (the twins were actually down for a nap) while I took C and L to see How to Train Your Dragon. It was a cute movie. I really enjoyed it. By the way, both movies I saw were in 3D. Love that! We ate ham, sweet potatoes, mac-n-cheese, green bean casserole, cornbread and I made a pineapple upside down cake. yum! Watched Julie and Julia with Mom. It was a sweet movie. Really sappy.
April 5, 2010- Back to work! Ugh. I generally hate Mondays. It was so busy and we had mandatory overtime. We ate left over spaghetti for dinner. I was so glad I didn't have to cook. Nothing super exciting...
April 6, 2010- No new releases I am interested in this week. Too bad but good for my wallet. I am still trying to decide what pictures I want to buy from the packages sent home from daycare. Looks like I am going to be spending about 170.00 on them. Wow! But they are so cute. Oh well. They'll only be this age once. Right?
April 7, 2010- Payday. Lovely. House payment and daycare takes most of it as usual. Oh well. I could be struggling much harder. At work right now and hoping for an easy evening. I walked around the ponds today. Good workout I think. I really want to get in shape for going to see my hubby. I am also finally starting to use the shake weight he sent me for Christmas. 6 minutes a day and it's supposed to tone your Mommy fat on your arms. We'll see. And I don't know how many days they are estimating this will happen in...
By the way, honey... I want an Ipod, a gold necklace and a tattoo for my birthday... Plus what ever other items you choose to throw in. LOL! And I am glad that people have noticed my weight loss at work, but I am tired of hearing, "OK! Don't come back pregnant when you go see him!" Jeez! We are having a spread tomorrow to celebrate the April birthdays for our team. I volunteered to bring plates and forks. NO COOKING! LOL!
I have gotten to speak to my hubby on skype and instant messenger a decent amount over the last week. That's always good news. He seems to be in good spirits. I am just so crazy about the fact that we cant get any dates as to when this nightmare of a deployment will be over! But I know it's soon! I know I will have him in my arms very soon....
